this show is starting to suck now, they are trying to make multiple seasons out of something that should have had 1 solid season w/ a strong conclusion

I didn’t like the new beggining, and the show is going downhill, Light must have had some sort of plan to get back the death note, he probably still has the piece in his wallet, all of a sudden he will touch it and remember, i think.

I agree with Tsuki Taken. I’m gettin REAL sick of this new Light with his do gooder attitude. And judging by the new op and ed alone u can OBVIOUSLY tell that Light will get his powers back and kill L when he’s least suspecting it. T_T When that happens i will probally cry like a sad lil emo who’s had their myspace account deleted (Cuz L is PWNSOME). Also am i the only here who waiting for L and light to get together? yeah, new opening is just a bit much, and trust me, i like my metal, and even i say this. this show is getting pretty lame now but im gonna stick to it see if it picks up again. i really want this series dubbed, it is nice to watch the show…not read it

I like the new opening, not as much as the first one of course, but it reminded me of SOAD for some reason. 0.o Light is gonna get his ass whipped f he doesn’t get his Kira powers back coz he’s such a pansy loser right now that it hurts.. I think the subbing is better than the dubbed version.. the voices just don’t work right for me. I guess once you go subbed you never go dubbed & vise versa.
I hope Misa gets he Kira powers back too, she was kinda’ cool as Kira2..

Misa and Light don’t have their Death Note’s anymore.
Misa was forced to give it up by Rem, and so Light came in possession of Misa’s Death Note, so he had two.
Then, he gave up possession of Misa’s Death Note, so Rem is now back at the Shinigami World.
Light buried his Death Note, and then he went and turned himself in, ‘thinking’ he was Kira so L wouldn’t think he was 100% and execute him.
While he was in containment, he said ‘discard it’, which to L, meant his pride, but to Ryuk, mean his Death Note.
So, Light lost all memory of the Death Note, of Ryuk and of him being Kira.
Although, there is that page of the Death Note that Light has in his jacket sleeve, and I wonder if that’s still there?
If it is, then I suppose he’ll accidentally touch it, and possibily remember everything about the Death Note, and his relationship with Kira.
As with the new opening, it isn’t all that grand compared to the first one. The music isn’t something you’d see in an anime; it’s too death metal.

Light is obviously going to see Ryuk again after accidentally touching the DN fragment. I read the spoilers, and Rem will kill L to save Misa. New opening is love, btw.

Yeah, I agree with just about everyone else. Nice Light is cute and all, but when he’s all like, “Let’s do everything we can to catch Kira!” I just wanna grab him by the shoulders and shake him! Like, “YOU’RE KIRA, DUMMY!!!!”
Plus, I’m tired of him being stupider. At least Light/Kira had awesome trains of thought and provided interesting plot twists…
I liked the whole idea of the protagonist [Light] being the bad guy and the antagonist [L] being the good guy. That made it hard to root for Light, but you couldn’t help it!
Now he’s just your stereotypical anime hero *sigh*
