After watching this I had a sudden burst of engery and I ran all around the house. Strange!
But L’s dead wasn’t much of a surprise, but I’m still sadden about it. He was one of my favorite characters. Oh well, the show must go on…and saddly, it does without him. However, it should get better. So, that makes me happy!

I personally think that the scene where L dries and massages Kira’s feet is very touching. I think this was L’s last wish before he died… he knew he was going to die so he wanted, for once in his life, open up to someone since (just as he said himself) he never trusted anyone. He did so even though he knew Light was Kira for the only reason that Light was the only person who he could identify with (intellectually that is). L is most definitely my favorite character… I love the way in which Tsugumi Ohba glorified his death!!!

Maybe there was a little jesus symbolism in the washing of the feet where L protrayed as Jesus and Light as Judas or some sort. Seems L knew about Light betrayal like Jesus. Just a thought.

Gosh, what a great episode. I was really touch by that scene where L dried Raito’s feet. Beautiful. And he knew that he’s going to die, and that made me cry (I actually cried). Raito is just… a douchebag.

besides the lil hint of feet washin’ homo-erotic innuendo, this show was the darkest ive seen yet of this series. I thought L was fakin his death to closely examine Light, but I guess im wrong? as a result of watchin dis damn show, my social life the past couple days have been erased lol, back 2 reality! but let da show go on, i dont know what else this show can offer without L……….

The scene where L dry’s Light’s feet is not gay, and I sincerely doubt it was L trusting Light (as just before he asked Light if he had ever spoken the truth since he was born). It reminds me of when Jesus washed the disciples feet. L was Jesus, Light was Judas. Judas then went on to betray Jesus, just as Light did to L. Jesus knew this was going to happen. And L did too.
Only difference is Judas killed himself afterwards. Light couldn’t be happier.
I don’t know, this is just my interpretation, think of it what you will.
