Sesshomaru, having arrived too late to travel using Tekkei’s river of blood, is provided an alternate method of entering the Netherworld by Kagura. Hosenki is corrupted by his shard of the jewel which draws evil from the Naraku’s shards nearby. Hosenki is finally weak enough from fighting Inuyasha that his shard is taken by Naraku.
