Kagura takes Kohaku to his home village to pay his respects to his dead relatives; he ends up saving Kirara, who has also dropped by to visit, from demons. Kohaku shares a secret flower garden with Kirara, who tries to bring the siblings back together.

Exceptional direction and screenwriting in this episode.
Nice sad, nostalgic piano at the end.. reminds me of Eric Satie’s Gymnopedies, and the “Sentimental Walk” theme in the soundtrack for Diva.
If the wrong episode was up at one time, it’s certainly the right one now.
