A mysterious man (with a demonic arm) named Goryomaru has his child warriors fight demons and recover their corpses, which leads Inuyasha and his friends to investigate in hopes of finding the Fuyouseki. Kagura continues her dangerous investigation of the true nature of the Infant, but ends up badly injured and goes to Sesshomaru, expecting to die near him. Rin tries to pull her out of the water, but Sesshomaru must then pull them both out. (Later Kagura revives because her heart is in Naraku’s possession.)
